Our symbols—the Magnolia and the Phoenix—represent who we are and why we exist.

The Magnolia, Mississippi’s state flower, stands for strength, beauty, hospitality, and enduring grace. It reflects the deep traditions of the South and the importance of gathering, celebrating, and caring for one another.

The Phoenix - a representation of rebirth, loyalty, transformation, and hope. Across cultures, it rises from the ashes—renewed, stronger, and unafraid to begin again. It symbolizes perseverance, courage, and the belief that every chapter can lead to something greater.

Founded by Elizabeth Lindsey (Magnolia Myra), through collaboration with our team of instructors, we have formed a dedicated team of individuals who want to develop the country dance scene here in Mississippi.

Our mission is to create a welcoming, empowering space where everyone—regardless of background or experience—feels seen, valued, and included. We honor where we’ve been while rising into who we are becoming. We believe dance is more than movement—it is healing, joy, and belonging. Whether you’re stepping onto the floor for the first time or rediscovering your rhythm, our dance floor is a place where confidence is rebuilt, friendships are formed, people rediscover themselves, and community thrives.
